Description
O₂ is based on the accurate and long-lasting Apogee SO-130 oxygen sensor (0–30% O₂), designed for demanding field and storage conditions.
The device monitors the oxygen level and temperature of biologically active materials — for example, changes in soil aeration, composting progress, or oxygen deficiency in silage piles, which can cause odor problems or lead to methane formation.
Measurement data is automatically transferred via Fluzscout Lite logger to the Fluxcloud service, and SMS alerts can be sent in case of anomalies.
Applications and Benefits
-
Soil oxygen monitoring – Track soil aeration in cultivation trials or restoration sites.
-
Compost monitoring – Ensure sufficient oxygen supply for microbial activity and detect slowed decomposition.
-
Pile oxygen level – Detect oxygen deficiency and prevent anaerobic processes such as methane generation.
-
Continuous real-time measurement – Automatic monitoring and alerts.
-
Accurate Apogee SO-130 sensor – Reliable measurement in the 0–30% O₂ range.
-
Low-power, battery-operated – Long operating life with two SAFT LS33600 lithium batteries.
-
Remote monitoring in the cloud – View measurements anytime and anywhere.
-
Easy installation and maintenance-free operation – Ready to use without complex configuration.
