Soil probe VWC, T & EC

Soil VWC, T and EC probe reliably measures soil or substrate moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC) from 1–4 depths, depending on configuration. The system uses high-precision Meter Group Teros sensors and a wireless Datasense data logger that automatically transmits data to the cloud service.

Soil VWC, T and EC probe can be equipped with three different sensor types depending on measurement needs:

  • Metr Group Teros 10: soil moisture

  • Meter Group Teros 11: soil moisture and temperature

  • Meter Group Teros 12: soil moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC)

Each measurement station can be connected to 1–4 sensors installed at different depths or locations. This enables precise monitoring of root zone conditions and evaluation of the effects of irrigation, fertilization, and soil enhancement measures.

The soil probe ideally suited for open-field cultivation, tunnels, greenhouses, green areas, and research applications. Real-time measurement data supports irrigation optimization, nutrient availability monitoring, early detection of plant stress, and assessment of soil amendment effects.
