The Soil Profile Probe is a depth-profile sensor that measures moisture and temperature from multiple layers using a single probe. Available lengths: 20 cm (2 sensors), 40 cm (4 sensors), 60 cm (6 sensors), 80 cm (8 sensors), 100 cm (10 sensors), and 120 cm (12 sensors). With reliable Aquacheck technology and automatic data transmission to the Fluxcloud platform it provides an efficient and maintenance-free solution for agriculture, biomass monitoring, and research applications.

Description

The Soil Profile Probe provides a precise view of soil and biomass temperature and moisture profiles.
Each probe length includes a predefined number of integrated sensors:

  • 20 cm → 2 measurement depths

  • 40 cm → 4 measurement depths

  • 60 cm → 6 measurement depths

  • 80 cm → 8 measurement depths

  • 100 cm → 10 measurement depths

  • 120 cm → 12 measurement depths

The probe is highly versatile: in field agriculture, it supports optimized irrigation and nutrient management; in biomass monitoring, it reveals composting progress and thermal peaks; and in research, it provides layered, in-depth insights into soil and material conditions.

Measurement data is transmitted wirelessly via LoRaWAN or NB-IoT to the Farmiaisti cloud platform, where it can be visualized and analyzed in real time.
